The initial frequencies are the standard FT8 dial frequencies. arrl.org

*Select FT8 if it appears in your Initial modulation dropdown. If it does not, select USB, then enable the FT8 decoder through the receiver’s available digital-mode controls. USB alone lets you hear the signals but does not decode messages.
The center frequencies are deliberately 10 kHz above the FT8 dial frequencies, keeping the signals away from a possible SDR center spike. Keep Initial frequency exactly as listed.
For FT8:
- Use USB on every band, including 160m, 80m, and 40m.
- If using USB audio with an external decoder, use a receive passband of approximately 0–3000 Hz.
- Keep the Raspberry Pi’s clock synchronized; FT8 uses timed 15-second periods.
- Click Apply and save after entering each profile.
These are operating presets. As in the previous tables, 60m is omitted because it needs separate treatment.
